To meet increasing demand for its products, TCM began manufacturing fork lift trucks in a new 165,000 square foot facility in Columbia, South Carolina in 1989.
The plant combines precision automated manufacturing techniques and quality control with the best hand craftsmanship to produce the best built, most reliable, and most productive fork truck in the industry.
TCM employees build the frames, chassis, masts and other components from scratch at this plant.

Our experienced assemblers add other components, many of which are also produced in the United States, to this foundation to finish the equipment.
Upon completion, the trucks go through a multiple stage inspection process before they are shipped to our customers.

TCM’s quality control activities are geared toward providing maximum user performance and safety. TCM forklift trucks must pass a wide variety of checks that include mast testing and adjustments, truck functionality tests, and fit/finish/specification checks. TCM ensures that quality standards are met and surpassed by making each employee a quality control specialist.
