Back to top Shiga PlantThe Shiga Plant is TCM’s main production base. It is located in Ohmihachiman City, a castle town facing Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture, Western Japan.

The Shiga Plant has fully adopted total productive maintenance and management (TPM) practices, earning citations for TPM excellence in 1996 and advanced TPM in 2007. |
Back to top HZHS PlantThis is the mother plant for Special Machinery used to transport heavy equipment in shipyards, including transfer cranes, straddle carriers, reach stackers and flatbed trucks. The HZHS plant utilizes shipbuilding technology, and loads completed vehicles from its quay onto freight vessels for transport by sea. Operated by Hitachi Zosen Handling System Co., Ltd., a TCM Group company.
